Sorry about the install troubles you’ve run into. This is all part of the growing pains of launching a beta web application

Installation instructions can be found at http://qubit-toolkit.org/index.php?title=Installation. Also, you can post issues like these to the qubit-dev discussion list where someone involved with the project will answer your questions.

Lastly, the problems you are reporting are ones we haven’t encountered before. If you could post some screen captures that would help us to track down what is going on.

So, where a can I go with problems…

Such as:

The download version seems to load okay (OS X 10.5) and I can log in as admin etc, but if I go to say Add New Archival Description, I get an empty page with just “edit archival description” in the top corner.

Whereas Add New Authority Record seems to come up with all the fields, but there is no Add New Record “save” button (and it doesn’t look like the page on the online demo)

(same for Repository. Terms seems okay though).

I’ve tried the source code with SVN etc, but I think that whole thing is close to the edge of my skills..

(Oh – trying it out at home rather than the office, I couldn’t get the download to load on Windows machines – after checking the system and trying to load up, I got an error – that it couldn’t find “sfInstallPlugin/configure”

(wanting to run some trial data through it etc…)
